Former Super Bowl Champion Warns Eagles About 1 Of Their Players

Although the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles have managed to start the 2023 NFL season 2-0, they don’t feel like the same dominant team from last year.

The Eagles won competitive games against the New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings, but the vibe around the squad isn’t quite the same.

Offensively, Philadelphia lacks the cohesion and explosiveness it displayed in 2022 despite having its core pieces back.

DeVonta Smith has been a bright spot as the young wideout looks to be making a leap, though the same can’t be said for the other key pass catchers like A.J. Brown and Dallas Goedert.

However, the biggest difference has been Jalen Hurts who has been solid but not spectacular through the first two weeks.

Hurts has looked good in spurts but Willie Colon warned that he needs to regain his peak form if the Eagles want to get to where they want to go via The Carton Show.

“If Jalen Hurts doesn’t go back to who we know he can be, there’s gonna be trouble,” Colon said.

The change in offensive coordinators could have something to do with Hurts’ lackluster production, though he himself hasn’t quite looked the same.

So far, Hurts has failed to pass for more than 200 yards though he’s been able to make up some of that with his legs as he’s run for 72 yards and two touchdowns.

Not everything should fall on Hurts’ shoulders, though as the team’s quarterback, he is responsible for keeping the offense on schedule and putting them in scoring positions.

It will be interesting to see whether or not Hurts can turn things up as the Eagles’ Super Bowl hopes lie with him.
