The Muppets on ‘KPop Demon Hunters,’ Sabrina Carpenter & Taylor Swift | Billboard News

Billboard’s Tetris Kelly recently had the opportunity to sit down with the iconic Miss Piggy and Kermit from ‘The Muppets’ to discuss their decision to revive their beloved show and their thoughts on the current state of the music industry. The dynamic duo also shared their opinions on popular artists such as Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, and the new hit show ‘KPop Demon Hunters.’

Miss Piggy, known for her fierce attitude and glamorous style, wasted no time in expressing her excitement for the revival of ‘The Muppets.’ “Darling, it’s about time we brought our show back to the spotlight. The world needs more of Miss Piggy and Kermit’s love story,” she exclaimed with a wink.

Kermit, the lovable green frog, chimed in with a smile, “We’re just happy to be back and entertaining our fans. It’s been a long time coming.”

When asked about their thoughts on the new show ‘KPop Demon Hunters,’ Miss Piggy couldn’t help but throw a little shade. “Yet another blonde coming for my job. Don’t tell her I said that,” she joked. “But in all seriousness, we love seeing different genres of music being represented in the industry. It’s important to embrace diversity and support all forms of art.”

Kermit added, “We’ve always been advocates for inclusivity and we’re glad to see it being reflected in the music world.”

The conversation then turned to the topic of Sabrina Carpenter, who recently released her highly anticipated album ‘Singular: Act II.’ Miss Piggy gushed, “Oh, she’s a talented young lady. I’ve been following her career and I must say, she’s definitely one to watch. I wouldn’t mind collaborating with her in the future.”

Kermit nodded in agreement, “She’s got a great voice and her music is so catchy. We’re big fans.”

Of course, no discussion about the music industry would be complete without mentioning the queen of pop herself, Taylor Swift. Miss Piggy and Kermit both had nothing but praise for the singer-songwriter. “Taylor is a force to be reckoned with. She’s constantly reinventing herself and her music, and we admire her for that,” Miss Piggy stated.

Kermit added, “She’s also a great role model for young artists. She’s not afraid to speak her mind and stand up for what she believes in.”

As the interview came to a close, Miss Piggy and Kermit expressed their gratitude for being able to continue their legacy and entertain audiences once again. “We’re just happy to be back in the spotlight and bringing joy to people’s lives. That’s what ‘The Muppets’ have always been about,” Kermit said with a smile.

Miss Piggy ended with a final message for their fans, “We hope you all tune in to our show and continue to support us. And remember, always follow your dreams, just like Miss Piggy did.”

With their infectious personalities and timeless charm, Miss Piggy and Kermit continue to capture the hearts of audiences everywhere. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us with the revival of ‘The Muppets.’
