NBA players need to have the utmost discipline when it comes to their diet and eating habits.

Back in the day, that wasn’t the case, with Charles Barkley admitting he loved to have fries and steak right before games, and players were smoking and drinking beers in the locker room.

Even New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson has drawn plenty of criticism for his reported unwillingness to take care of his body and stay in good shape and his poor eating habits.

Notably, it seems like he’s not alone in that regard, as Brooklyn Nets star Mikal Bridges recently admitted that he’s been eating Chipotle nonstop every single year for the past ten years (via TMZ).

In an interview with GQ, the former first-round pick admitted that he’s eaten Chipotle every single day because it just “doesn’t disappoint.”

Nonetheless, he did admit that he can no longer tolerate the spicy sauces, and he’s getting his burrito bowls with just white rice, double chicken, salsa, corn, and lettuce.

Perhaps the most impressive thing about this confession is that the talented guard has never missed a single game in his NBA career.

As a matter of fact, he even played an extra regular-season game last year after being traded from the Phoenix Suns to the Nets.

So, he has a privileged metabolism and can still afford to get away with that at 27 years old.

It’s more than evident that he hasn’t gotten bored since his high school days, so there’s no reason to change now.
