Space Force Holds Inaugural ‘Spacepower’ Conference

On December 12th, the United States Space Force (USSF) held its first national conference focused on professional development. The conference, dubbed ‘Spacepower’, brought together service members, known as guardians, from across the nascent military branch.

The conference was held at the Pentagon and was attended by USSF Chief of Space Operations General John W. Raymond, USSF Vice Chief of Space Operations General David D. Thompson, and other senior leaders from the USSF. The conference was also attended by representatives from the US Air Force, US Navy, US Army, and US Marine Corps.

The conference was designed to provide guardians with the opportunity to learn about the USSF’s mission, vision, and values, as well as to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the USSF. The conference also provided guardians with the opportunity to network with other guardians and to gain insight into the USSF’s plans for the future.
