The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the most decorated teams in NBA history.
Keeping that in mind, it’s no surprise that they have a true rivalry against the Boston Celtics as both franchises are tied for most NBA Championships won in league history with 17 each.
The two teams have faced off in many battles throughout their storied history in the league, and the next chapter in the rivalry will be written tonight as part of the NBA Christmas Day matchup.
Ahead of the game, the Los Angeles Lakers had a pleasant surprise for the fanbase, as revealed via Dan Woike on Twitter.

As mentioned in the above-attached tweet, every Laker fan will receive a Kobe Bryant t-shirt for the team’s upcoming game against the Boston Celtics.
Although many NBA legends have donned the iconic Purple and Gold jersey during their careers, not many have even come close to what Kobe Bryant achieved for the organization.
Bryant spent his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers and helped the team win five NBA titles during his time there.
Unfortunately, Bryant passed away in a tragic helicopter crash in 2020, but the Lakers have never missed a chance to honor the legendary player.
They continue to do so even almost four years after the accident, and it truly shows what a beautiful bond and amazing impact Kobe Bryant had on the Los Angeles Lakers.
