Miracle of the Chinita? | The bank’s duck opened his heart and installed an ATM in La Tirana

With the aim of being present in all corners of the country, following a study, BancoEstado inaugurated the first ATM in La Tirana, Tarapacá Region.

This gesture of the BancoEstado duck will benefit the more than 800 inhabitants of the town, who will not have to travel 20 kilometers to Pozo Almonte to request an ATM.

In addition, the dispenser will be a great support for the thousands of pilgrims who come to greet the Virgen del Carmen (La Chinita) and who returns in 2023 after being suspended for three years due to Covid-19.*100006 *

The manager of the Retail Commercial Division, Alexis Genskowsky, commented that “in our country, there are still significant challenges in terms of inequality, and BancoEstado is present to help mitigate that, to level the playing field. 91% of the Chilean population is our client, and there are still communes where there are no banks. Today, having access to financial services has become one more basic service, so we are very excited to be here and what this means.”

MAYOR

For his part, the mayor of Pozo Almonte, Richard Godoy, said that “this was born from the neighbors and the regional, provincial, communal authorities and BancoEstado, which is the bank of all Chileans, also came together. I want to thank everyone who made it possible to have this ATM.”

Among the services that this ATM will provide are money transfers, balance inquiries, transfers between BancoEstado accounts, cell phone recharge, password change, credit card advances, credit line payment, and deposits.* 100014*
